





The Society of Philippine Artists, Recreation, and Community (SPARC) is a federally registered non-profit organization in Canada committed to advancing community development, cultural preservation, and economic inclusion within the Filipino-Canadian community. SPARC serves individuals and families at various stages of settlement—from newcomers to established entrepreneurs—by delivering inclusive programs, events, and partnerships that promote social connection, economic opportunity, and civic engagement.
Through arts, culture, recreation, and business-focused initiatives, SPARC provides accessible platforms that strengthen community participation, support small businesses, and foster cross-cultural understanding within the broader Canadian society.
MISSION - SPARC’s mission is to support the social, cultural, and economic well-being of the Filipino-Canadian community through the following objectives: To promote Filipino culture, heritage, and creative expression within mainstream Canadian society, fostering multicultural awareness and inclusion. To support Filipino entrepreneurs and small businesses by providing platforms for market access, visibility, and business development. To engage youth and emerging leaders through culturally relevant programming that encourages identity, leadership, and community involvement. To strengthen community resilience by promoting the Filipino value of bayanihan, encouraging collective action, volunteerism, and mutual support. To collaborate with other non-profit and community organizations through shared programming, volunteer initiatives, and fundraising efforts. To deliver family-friendly recreational, arts, and cultural activities that contribute to mental well-being, physical health, and social inclusion. To support newcomers by providing community-based guidance, referrals, and opportunities for social integration and participation.
